In addition, the IH21 UHF RFID reader has a unique, patented ePop-Loq snap-on connector integrated on the top surface, which enables a direct data and charge connection between the UHF reader and handheld mobile computer unit. As a result, users can quickly and easily connect compatible Honeywell mobile computers, such as the Dolphin 75e, Dolphin CT40, Dolphin CT50, Dolphin CT60, or ScanPal EDA50 series, to the IH21 unit.

Moreover, the advanced antenna design allows the IH21 unit to read most common supply chain RFID tags in front of the antenna to eliminate poor reading results. Users simply point, aim, and press the trigger, enabling all items within range to be read nearly simultaneously and significantly reducing cycle count time, up to 20 times faster than using barcodes. Connection to the mobile computer can be done either via USB or Bluetooth with the ePop-Loq.
